The late Gothic church of medieval provenience, nowadays Unitarian, "was encircled by an irregular rectangular wall with five bastions, which stands nowadays too..." In the past each resident of the village had a pantry in the wall, where one could deposit in wooden boxes cereals, valuables on the time of war, robbery or fire. All this was guarded by a fortress guard at all times. The ceiling of the
church is covered by a net-vault leaning on consoles decorated
with small shields. It has five pointed-arch windows and a decorated
stonegallery. On the northern wall, a wallpainting from the 15th century
represents the legend of From: Orbán Balázs: A Székelyföld leírása, Első kötet (Ráth Mór kiadása, Pest 1869) From: Dr Mátyás Zsigmond: Utazások Erdélyben (Panoráma 1977)
